Support Networks: A Support Network creates a facilitated circle of close and supportive friends around a person with disability who help with social inclusion and community connection. Aimed reducing isolation and increasing individual capacity a network can be beneficial at any age. This is funded under the Social Community and Civic participation (09_006_0106_6_3) NDIS line item.
Tenancy & Accommodation Advice: Future Living can help you make the step to independent living including providing advice and support on purchase and tenancy obligations, share arrangements, and rental disputes.Both services above can be included on your NDIS Plan. This is funded under the Social Community and Civic participation (08_005_0106_2_3)NDIS line item
Advice for Parents: The NDIS is centred around the person with the disability. Parents of people with development disability who are over 18 can be involved in their son or daughter’s NDIS Plan. You can also ask others, like your Local Co-ordinator, to support you in the process.Future Living encourages parents to consider all the following when creating an NDIS Plan:
